What counts as a unit?

A flat or house is one unit. An HMO room is one unit.

What counts as an entity?

A legal owner: you personally, a limited company or an SPV. Every plan includes unlimited entities. Pro and Scale add reporting by entity.

When do you charge me?

Creating an account and adding your first few properties is free. When you choose a plan we take your card and the first 7 days are free, so the rest of your portfolio comes in before you pay anything. Billing begins on day 8. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.

Can I change plan later?

Yes. Move up or down any time. The change takes effect at your next billing date.

What if I have more than 100 units?

Scale includes 100 units and adds £0.75 per unit a month above that; 120 units on annual billing is £79 plus £15, so £94 a month. Both Scale and Enterprise come with VIP onboarding, where we set the dashboard up from your records. Enterprise is priced for the portfolio and adds priority support around the clock. Book a call and we will tell you which fits.

Can my accountant get in?

Yes. Every plan includes a free accountant seat with read and comment access, scoped to what they need.

Can you move my data from another tool?

On Pro and Scale, yes. Book a call and we bring your properties, tenancies, mortgages and compliance dates across.

Does Lar file my tax return?

No. Lar keeps the figures and the evidence in order and gives your accountant an export pack. It does not submit anything to HMRC.

Does it work outside Scotland?

The portfolio, mortgage and financial tools work for any UK property. Compliance covers Scotland today, with the rest of the UK next.
